Single: Hightail – ‘Made a Mess’

Hightail Made A Mess

“The song is about reminiscing the best times you’ve had in your life alongside your favourite people & the nostalgia of looking back to those times”

The UK pop punk scene is constantly packed full of new and emerging talent – and Bristol based Hightail are just one example of that.

Hightail Made A Mess

Their brand new single ‘Made a Mess‘ is catchy, upbeat and a brilliant blend of the optimistic reminiscence and pessimistic nostalgia that creates a relatable and engaging recount of loss, mistakes and hope – all while showcasing a classic pop punk sound.

It’s so easy in an over-saturated scene to fade into the background – but it’s clear to me that Hightail aren’t that kind of band. A short chat with lead vocalist Jordan Veale reveals that the band have “some exciting things in the pipeline for the very near future“. His passion, drive and hope for the band is something that really makes Hightail stand out.

Made a Mess‘ is the band’s debut single, taken from their upcoming EP A Bulletin For Broken Hearts, which should push Hightail to the places they want to go.
