It’s the big one. Countless hours. Burned out speakers. Heartbreaking decisions. But it’s over now, and at the end of it all we have fifty stunning albums.

As years go, 2018 has been brilliant for music. There were some promising debuts, nostalgic returns, and captivating masterpieces. A running theme throughout many of these records was artists stepping out of their comfort zone. to see so many musicians experimenting and taking risks was fascinating to watch. So lets stop posturing, and just get down to business.

And number one…? The mighty Christine & The Queens, with Chris. This album. This album is special. I won’t gush over it too much now, I did enough of that in our review back in September. It’s suffice to say that I think it’s a modern masterpiece, a record we will treasure for decades to come.
